Summary The typical seasonal EOD period for this position is November through April, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: Early to mid-November 2026. Responsibilities This position is located in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in the Maintenance Division. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve: Gustavus Alaska Major Duties: Operates and performs operator maintenance on various types of motor vehicles up to 10,000 pounds. Loads and unloads cargo, using appropriate tie-downs. Performs flagging duties for heavy equipment operators. Corrects and reports park hazards. Transports passengers and cargo on public roadways in various traffic, road, and weather conditions. Occasionally leads a crew in the performance of these duties.
