Position Overview Position: Forester Internship (Seasonal) (Part Time, Temporary) Location: Las Vegas, New Mexico Davey Resource Group, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the employee owned Davey Tree Expert Company. We provide natural resource, utility, GIS and remote sensing consulting services focused on safe and reliable vegetation management for power utilities. We are hiring certified arborists, professional foresters, horticulturalists, natural resource specialists, environmental scientists, landscape, nursery, tree care and parks and recreation professionals, plant and outdoor enthusiasts for this internship. Job Duties Support post‐fire reforestation planning, field data collection, and landowner assistance activities. Collect site information including GPS coordinates, acreage, parcel information, photographs, and stand condition data. Conduct forest inventory plots and timber cruising.
