Summary The typical seasonal EOD period for this position is November through April, but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Anticipated Entry on Duty: early to mid-November 2026. Responsibilities This position is located in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in the Maintenance Division. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve: Gustavus Alaska MAJOR DUTIES: Replaces solenoids, relays, control modules, water pumps, fuel injectors, spark plugs, brake pads/shoes, wheel bearings/hubs, ball joints, control arms, steering linkages, exhaust components, cooling system components, engine components, belts, hoses, tires, and complete assemblies such as engines, transmissions, transfer cased, transaxles and rearends. Services and checks air conditioning systems, including purging and recharging systems, flushing radiators and replacing anti-freeze solutions, and aligning cars and trucks by adjusting caster, camber and toe.
