Scientific Instrument Technician

We are currently seeking a Scientific Instrument Technician for a prominent industrial and scientific client of ours. This position is in Midland, NC. Details for the position are as follows:
 
Job Description:

Pay: 23.00-24.00/hr.

Length of Assignment: 11 months with potential for extension.

B.S. or Associates Degree in technical/science field.

Manager is open to science or engineering candidates that have experience designing equipment/tools OR troubleshooting/preventative maintenance on equipment.

Mechanical/process aptitude with the ability to design/fabricate experimental equipment/tools.

Will run fiber-making and fiber processing process and support equipment such as FTIR benches, microscopes, coating/ink purge and mixing equipment, optical fiber measurement benches, screeners, and coloring machines.
