School Nurse (RN) - Casual - School Nurse Programs

**This is a casual, grant funded position which is subject to renewal on 06/30/2027. After the designated end date, this position is subject to a possible extension with a contract renewal.**

Hours are full time during the school year.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of department leadership, provides a comprehensive health management program for assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the health of students to enhance their learning capabilities in school districts across San Diego.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

3 years of experience

Current California RN license

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association

School Nurse Svcs Credential

Current CA Driver’s License

Proof of Auto Insurance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree

5 years of experience
