Vacancy Description
School Monitor, full-time, school calendar – Queensbury School District has anticipated full-time opening starting September 2026. Position will be 50% in the Middle School and 50% in the High School.
Pay Rate: Minimum $18.79/hr.
Job Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience is preferred, but not required.

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: this is work of ordinary difficulty involving responsibility for assisting teachers by performing assigned routine tasks including the supervision and care of children. Since there are definite limits on the type and complexity of assignments, the class of School Monitor differs in that respect from Teacher Aide, which usually involves duties of grater difficulty generally requiring specific skills or abilities.
