School-Based Health LPN/RN - PRN

Summary:

• School-Based Health (SBH) requires flexible, efficient teamwork on the part of the provider and other clinical staff.


• The provider and nurse work together to perform all the needed duties for clinic maintenance and patient care in School Based Clinics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain and maintain records of parental consent, insurance information, and patient history for students and staff of SBH.


• Coordinate with school secretaries and health department nurses to appropriately screen and triage potential patients for SBH.
• Maintain safe and well-equipped clinical areas at all SBH sites.
• Duties include, but are not limited to inventory, ordering, and stocking medications and supplies, reporting malfunctioning equipment or facilities, and appropriate security/storage of supplies.
