Scheduling Specialist LPN

**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** As the Scheduling Specialist LPN for Choctaw Referred Care, you will schedule and pre-register patients for exams and procedures and ensure that alternate resources have been assessed and that the patient meets the guidelines for Choctaw Referred Care. You will report to the Manager.

**Primary Tasks:**
1. Procure health services from private providers through written contracts and agreements within established policies and procedures.
2. Negotiate and award purchases of health services within delegated monetary authority parameters.
3. Provide initial and follow-up assistance for hospital admission in outside hospitals through contract providers.
4. Notify Case Manager of potential long-term admissions; follow up on cases involving alternate third-party resources.
