**Job Description:**
In this position, the Scheduler is responsible for scheduling appointments for patients with SVFCC physicians and outside facilities based on referrals.
**Schedule - Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm & Friday 8:00am -12:00pm.**
+ Schedules patient appointments in EMR
+ Manages work queues and inboxes related to scheduling.
+ Schedules internal and external referrals
+ Coordinates and schedules appointments for SVFCC physicians and outside facilities, based on referrals.
+ Answers calls and retrieves voicemail related to patient scheduling.
+ Manages patient reschedules based on physician availability
+ Sends reminders regarding future patient appointments.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum of thee years experience in a front office position in a physician clinic setting
+ General applied knowledge of medical terminology, CPT4, ICDCM, HCPCS, Medicare, Medicaid and ...
