Scaffolding Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise the erection, alteration, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems.
• Allocate daily work activities to scaffolders and monitor productivity.
• Ensure scaffolding is erected according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct pre-use and routine scaffold inspections to ensure structural integrity and safety.
• Verify that all scaffolding components are in good condition before use.
• Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and safety teams to meet project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and site safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for the scaffolding team.
• Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work practices.
