The Best Connection are currently looking for an experienced night shift Cross Saw Operative to work in the Hull area.

The wood Machinist is responsible for operating the cross saw machine to cut wood to various lengths.

This includes setting up and operating saws, measuring, and cutting wood to specifications, and maintaining sawing equipment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Measure and cut wood to specifications, using a variety of measuring tools
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Maintain sawing equipment, including making minor repairs
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations


    • Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sawing or woodworking preferred
