Job Title: Saw Machine Operator (days)

Location: Belfast BT3 (near the docks)

Salary: £28,3038.40 per annum (£13.48 per hour)

Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm / Mon – Fri (40hrs)

Main role and responsibilities

Operates metal saw to cut material to customer requirements by performing the following duties.

Main duties/ Key Performance Indicators

· Operating a billet / saw machine

· Checks the material allocated to be cut, length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, lot number before cutting.

· Checks to cut plan, and any additional drawings to agree with advised sizes on sale order before cutting.

· Cuts and verifies parts are within customer required tolerances, using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments.

· Program saw for cutting operation.
