Founded in 1829, Delvaux is a truly Belgian brand, born before the Kingdom of Belgium was established.

Created in Brussels by Charles Delvaux, the company has remained at the forefront of luxury leather goods for nearly two centuries, thanks to its savoir-faire, uncompromising craftsmanship, and outstanding quality.

Delvaux is the oldest luxury fine leather goods house in the world and has been active without interruption ever since. It is the inventor of the modern handbag, having filed the first leather handbag patent in 1908. Official purveyor to the Royal Court of Belgium since 1883, Delvaux shares and celebrates Belgian cultural references and values.

The archives include more than 3000 designs, such as The Brillant (1958), The Tempête (1967), The Pin (1972), and The Lingot (2022), all hand‑crafted in La Maison’s ateliers in Belgium and France.
