SALES ASSISTANT

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Sales Assistant in Salem, Virginia. The Sales Assistant position is responsible for performing administrative duties associated with projects and general office tasks, including but not limited to – printing, copying, scanning, processing invoices, utilizing Docusign, etc. The Assistant also performs seasonal pricing updates in the ERP, downloading and filtering reports, and communicating with service on all new inventory arrivals. Seeking candidates with previous experience in an administrative role; High school diploma or equivalent; Previous sales support experience a plus.
