A large and well established Mining Company based in the Limpopo Province, has a challenging opportunity for a Safety Officer. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance to legislation, mine policies, standard rules and procedures in respect of safety issues in a designated area of responsibility If this sounds like you apply now!

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) certificate with Mathematics and Science is essential

•A valid first aid ticket is essential

•Valid blasting certificate is essential

•Computer Literacy (MS Office Package) is essential.

•Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Safety Officer- Contractor Management is essential.

•Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Miner is essential.

•Minimum of 2 years’ experience Shift Boss is essential.
