Safety Officer

M.E.I. Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team on a contract basis in Batu Berendam, Melaka. As a Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring workplace safety, health compliance, and the implementation of safety regulations at our construction projects, contributing to the successful delivery of our client’s objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Liaison with Clients, M.E.I.’s Penang office, other Consultants if any, Contractors and Sub-contractors on project requirements.
• Liaison with local authorities on projects and statutory requirements pertaining to projects.
• Report to Construction Manager in day to day safety coordination issues pertaining to the construction activities.
• Check compliance with local Act.
• Check compliance with Client’s in‑house safety regulations and procedures for the site.
