Safety & Health Officer (SHO)

Role Description

This is a contract, on-site position based in Penang. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by implementing and monitoring workplace safety and health practices in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities

• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
• To comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the department.
• Prepare and review Safety & Health Plan (SHP), HIRARC and related safety documents.
• To carry out risk assessment of project site construction activities and taking into account these risks when preparing safety and health for the project.
• Prepare Emergency Response Plan for project.
