Safety & Environmental Manager

Provides Munising Hardwood Lumber and Hardwood Veneer with overall coordination of Safety, Health and Environmental initiatives, policies and procedures. Coordinates training, incident investigations, audits, policy development and implementation. Provides overall guidance to ensure compliance with state and federal Safety, Health and Environmental regulations. Works diligently as a member of the Plant Management team.


+ Provides technical Safety and Environmental support to production and personnel at the Munising Plant. Acts as a mentor and promoter of Safety, Health and Environmental concerns. Maintains an active presence on the floor to monitor safety and environmental practices, answer employee questions, understand all equipment and associated safety and environmental features.
