Our client, a multinational company in Automotive domain is looking for candidates for the below role.
Interior- Safety Engineer (Contract)
Location: Pune
Scope of Role
Responsible for generating CATIA V5/V6 Body Engineering CAD concepts and solutions for ongoing and new Safety & Restraints projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create CAD geometry and drawings for Safety & Restraints systems.
Design and develop:
Seat Belts
Child Restraints
Airbags
Check process constraints (tool access, assembly feasibility) and manufacturing feasibility.
Create assembly models and skeletons using CATIA V5/V6.
Apply CAD best practices for Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting, and Kinematics.
Maintain CAD data maturity and provide design support in line with project timelines.
Manage interface clearances, escalate unresolved issues, and ensure timely project deliverables.
