Safety and Environment Officer

Reporting to the Director, Emergency Management & Resilience in the Operations and Resilience portfolio, the Safety and Environmental Safety Officer  (SEO) is responsible for developing, implementing and administering the University’s environmental health and safety program, including the procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical, and biological hazards or ergonomic factors. The SEO advises, supports and provides services to leaders and managers throughout the University to ensure they are compliant under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and supporting regulations.
