Under general supervision, with latitude for independent judgment and initiative, directs the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of assigned arterial roadways, highways, medians, shoulders, guardrails, fencing, landscaped roadway areas, and related infrastructure within a designated borough. Plans, coordinates, and supervises daily highway maintenance operations, including guiderail and fencing installation and repair, debris removal, snow and ice removal, and the installation and maintenance of traffic and landscaped medians. Oversees roadway landscape maintenance activities, including grass mowing, trimming, litter removal, and general roadway cleanup within the arterial right-of-way.
