RN - PCU

Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Dual level of care unit (telemetry and PCU), as well as primary stroke center. Unit Size/Beds: 25 beds (9 of which are PCU level of care) Expected Ratios: for all 3 shifts its 1:5-6 on floor side, 1:3 for PCU Cases seen: chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis is probably our 4 biggest diagnosis

Requirements:

• Must be a state of CT licensed RN.
• 2 years PCU experience.
• 2 years telemetry experience.
• Previous travel experience.
• Charge experience.
• Certification: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS.
