Job Summary: <p>The Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides specialized nursing care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. This role involves monitoring and assessing neonatal patients, performing routine care such as vital signs and head-to-toe assessments, supporting breastfeeding and skin-to-skin contact, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The nurse may occasionally float to related units such as the nursery or baby transition role depending on delivery volumes.
