About the unit
2 East is a 14-bed medical observation unit and an 8-bed observation area where patients come for additional assessment and testing to determine inpatient admission vs. discharge where the length of stay is 48 hours or less. We take pride in our teamwork and the quality care we deliver to our patients. On 2 east we work closely with the MOU hospitalist and care team to provide safe and proficient care to our patients. A new member to our team should have strong critical thinking, assessment and clinical decision-making skills.
