<p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong><br />
• The Telemetry/Med Surg RN is responsible for the clinical management of the unit.<br />
• Assures compliance with professional, regulatory, governmental, and organizational standards.<br />
• Assures satisfaction of patients while educating them on lifestyle changes and updates regarding the diagnosis, medication, and discharge instructions, prior to discharge from the hospital.<br />
• Charts observations and activities related to patient care in electronic health record.<br />
• Provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population using critical thinking skills, advocacy abilities and ethical approaches.<br />
• Guides and directs assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.<br />
