Description: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required. TNCC is preferred. The role requires experience in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department. Common diagnoses include STEMI, Stroke, sprains, sutures, and high acuity patients. Pediatric patients are seen in all zones; there is no separate pediatric area. The nurse must be able to work both evening and overnight shifts. The nurse should have experience with drips, including routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation.
