Endoscopy Registered Nurse
Location: Akron, Ohio
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Day shift schedule with varying hours including 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Weekend shifts and call requirements included.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of experience in Endoscopy. The role includes providing high-quality patient care in the endoscopy unit and participating in call shifts during the week and on weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and recovery.
- Participate in call shifts as required by the schedule.
