Summary The Risk Manager is a registered professional nurse, qualified by education and experience to monitor and evaluate clinical and administrative processes for the safe delivery of patient care throughout all applicable departments of the healthcare system through an integrated Quality Management Program that includes Risk Management, Peer Review, and Patient Safety Programs. Responsibilities Duties include but not limited to: Designs/redesigns, implements, evaluates, and maintains the medical center's risk management program and supports the patient safety, risk management program. Demonstrates expertise in the interpretation and application of standards, directives, and regulations related to the risk management program. Ensures the healthcare system is in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and directives related to quality and risk management functions.
