Vacancy Description
The Rigger is responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading telecommunications equipment on towers, poles, and other elevated structures. The role involves climbing towers, mounting antennas and related hardware, routing cables, and ensuring all installations comply with safety standards and technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Tower & Structure Work
- Climb telecom towers, masts, and poles to install and maintain telecommunications equipment.
- Install mounting brackets, antenna supports, and other structural components.
- Assist in tower reinforcement, maintenance, and inspection activities.
Equipment Installation
- Install and align antennas, microwave dishes, and radio equipment.
- Mount and secure equipment such as RRUs, antennas, and microwave links.
- Route and secure feeder cables, fiber cables, and grounding systems.
