Richmond School District Carpenter Opening

Act as a critical member of the Richmond School District Facilities Services team as a full-time Carpenter. You’ll perform essential carpentry work for maintenance and construction projects.
This permanent position seeks a journeyperson-level Carpenter skilled in a range of carpentry techniques. Responsibilities include structural work, installing millwork, and providing technical support as needed. Your two years of carpentry experience will ensure high-quality workmanship across our 53 facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Frame and construct walls, windows, and doors
• Design and build cabinets, counters, and shelving
• Respond to carpentry emergencies throughout the district
• Interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory for carpentry
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent with TQ/Red Seal certification
