Position Summary
Position Description:
+ Manages the facilities operations including housekeeping, maintenance and custodial activities required to maintain the physical facilities of the complex.
+ Develops, monitors and controls the facilities budget of the complex. Prepares periodic reports including financial forecasts in order to ensure compliance with Departmental expectations and budget.
+ Coordinates long-range maintenance plans with the Physical Plant and Construction, Maintenance & Interior Design including building alterations, furnishings and equipment acquisitions for the complex.
+ Interviews, hires, trains, supervises, evaluates and disciplines the subordinate supervisory and support staff of the complex.
+ Inspects buildings in order to ensure that University, State and Federal safety and mandated compliance regulations are followed and to check on quality and quantity of work performed.
