Retrocession Operations Analyst

About the Role

You will be part of the small Retrocession unit based in Zurich, working closely with the global Middle Office as well as the Claims Management and Underwriting teams of MS Reinsurance. In this role, you will take on responsibilities across each step of the end‑to‑end life cycle of a retrocession contract, from pre‑placement security checks and onboarding through to commutation.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support to Outwards Underwriting teams and to successfully execute the terms and conditions of the in‑force contracts.
• Retrocession contract set up and input, including retrocessionaire security rating, exposure analysis, and partner onboarding.
• Non‑Proportional Instalment Premium calculation, recording, and execution.
• Non‑Proportional Claim Recovery and Reinstatement Premium reviews, calculation, and recording within SICS.
