Key Responsibilities
The Retail Buyer will be responsible for selecting, purchasing and coordinating the supply of fresh fruit, vegetables and other produce for the business’s retail, wholesale, hospitality and export customers.
Monitor sales data, customer orders, stock levels and product movement to identify purchasing requirements.
Study fresh produce market conditions, seasonal availability, supplier information, pricing trends and supply shortages.
Select and purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and other produce from farmers, growers, wholesalers and market suppliers.
