Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) provides an integrated system of health and personal support services to clients based on assessed needs across Home Living (Adult and Children’s), Supportive Living, Facility Living, and Palliative Care. Services are delivered in clients’ homes, community settings, and long-term care environments.
The Respiratory Therapy Professional Practice Lead (PPL) is a specialized leadership role responsible for advancing clinical practice, supporting staff development, and promoting excellence in patient care across ALA programs. This position provides mentorship, clinical consultation, and professional leadership to Respiratory Therapy staff and interdisciplinary teams, supporting staff to practice to full scope. The PPL works collaboratively with managers, clinicians, and system partners to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-informed policies, procedures, and practice standards.
