Resident Engineer Buildings

The Resident Engineer (RE) reports to the Employer and is generally responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the site supervision works. Under the terms of the contract the resident engineer is considered to be the engineer’s representative and is delegated certain powers by the Engineer. The Resident Engineer is responsible for organizing the site staff to carry out the duties required of them pursuant to the scope of service defined in the consultancy agreement and the contract in order to provide an efficient and effective service to the client.
