Research Technician (Translational Molecular Pathology)

VHIR is seeking a Research Technician to work within the Translational Molecular Pathology Group. Our group aims to unravel the molecular mechanisms of cancer progression and metastasis to identify new diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic targets in cancer. Main responsibilities and duties: Coordinate and manage laboratory duties Provide support to clinical trials or research projects ongoing within the department Collaborate with other Principal Investigators who require services from the Pathology department Prepare and organise human samples required for different projects or collaborations Education and qualifications: Required: Superior Degree in Pathology (FPII) Specialised training in immunohistochemistry of animal and human samples Experienced in sample scanning Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English Desirable: Additional training in molecular pathology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, western blot, etc.)...
