Research Engineer (Underwater Robotics)

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer to join our team developing cutting edge energy efficient underwater navigation systems. The successful candidate will work on implementing and optimizing localization algorithms, developing energy-aware navigation planning systems, and conducting real world validation of underwater autonomous navigation technologies.

• Design energy efficient navigation systems for autonomous underwater vehicles
• Develop and implement underwater navigation algorithms
• Create simulation environments and conduct testing of navigation algorithms
• Analyze and optimize navigation system performance for energy consumption and accuracyCollaborate with team members on algorithm development and testing
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Support field testing and data collection activities
