Job Summary

Contributes to, performs, or supports the Universitys research initiatives. Specifically, to serve as a Research Associate (R2) under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) conducting research on projects as a result of funding provided by NIH grants. Research will focus on examining the mechanisms underlying the induction of various inflammatory diseases. Research will involve conducting flow cytometry, scRNA, spatial transcriptomics, microbiome, and epigenetic analyses. Performs laboratory research assessing the mechanisms underlying the development of inflammatory diseases. Performs bacterial identification and characterization as well as sequencing data (including methylation/demethylation, histone modification and chromatin accessibility) to determine gene dysregulation in various cells from different tissue that are involved.
