Research Assistant Technical - Department of Geography

The Department of Geography, University College Cork wishes to appoint a Research Assistant Technical to undertake fieldwork, data processing, project reporting and administration as deemed appropriate by the PI. The Successful candidate will support the MARA_B_ORE project which aims to model anthropogenic impacts, responses, and benefits of the marine Ecosystem from Offshore Renewable Energy. The successful candidate will be based at University College Cork within the Department of Geography. The successful candidate will be proficient at fieldwork including the use of AUVs and various other field instrumentation relevant to coastal and marine research (ADCP). Ideally, they will have a strong interest in coastal and marine environments have an understanding of marine and environmental monitoring techniques.
