Research assistant (Solar Energy and Desalination)

Job Description

The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant/postdoctoral researcher in Solar Energy and Desalination. The candidate’s duties include managing the project's day-to-day activities, conducting laboratory and numerical experiments, and publishing research findings in refereed journals. The position is part of a research project funded by the university's research office. The contract will be till Dec. 31.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.Sc./B.Sc. in Mechanical, Chemical, renewable, Architecture, or Aerospace engineering, or a relevant field.
• Good technical and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Good experience in CAD software
