Research Assistant (OR/NBD/JJG3)

The Signature Research Programme in Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders (“NBD”) is focused on understanding the structure and function of the nervous system, and the neural mechanisms underlying human neurological, psychiatric and ophthalmological disorders.

The Chronobiology and Sleep Laboratory (CSL) studies the effects of sleep and circadian rhythms on human performance and physiology. Research topics include improving sleep and wellbeing in shift workers and student populations.

The research assistant will carry out research studies on behavioural interventions for improving sleep and cognitive performance. The studies include field- and laboratory methods of measuring sleep and wellbeing.
