Research Assistant (Geophysics (InVEST Component A)

The Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Assistant to join the 5‑year Integrating Volcano and Earthquake Science and Technology (InVEST) in Southeast Asia project, focusing on tectonic and earthquake research for the Southeast Asian Ring of Fire.

• Processing and analyzing GNSS data for tectonic and earthquake studies
• Processing and analyzing creepmeter data for tectonic and earthquake studies
• Contributing to the publication of scientific results in peer‑reviewed journals
• Engaging in collaborative discussions with InVEST team members and collaborators
• Contributing to InVEST meetings and reports

• Bachelor’s degree in Earth science, Geophysics, Geodesy or a closely related field
• Proficiency in computational methods, with experience in programming using Fortran, MATLAB, and/or Python
