Research Assistant (Experimental EUV Nanophotonics)

The LUMINOUS! Centre of Excellence for Semiconductor Lighting and Displays at NTU seeks a Research Assistant to support an NRF‑funded project on EUV nanophotonics and chip‑scale EUV light‑source technologies. The role focuses on device fabrication, vacuum‑system integration, electron‑beam experiments, EUV emission measurements, detector calibration, data analysis, and project reporting.

• Assist in the fabrication and processing of EUV light‑source components, including field‑emission cathodes, nanostructured/multilayer anodes, and test devices.
• Support the integration of electron‑beam sources, vacuum chambers, sample stages, detectors, feedthroughs, and optical/electrical measurement setups.
• Carry out thin‑film deposition, lithography, etching, surface cleaning, sample mounting, device assembly, and related nanofabrication tasks under supervision.
