Rent Income Recovery Officer

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Rent Income Recovery Officer for a local authority in Southwest London.

In this role, you will manage and recover former tenant arrears, court costs and property-related recharges, maximising income through effective tracing and recovery.

Duties:

• Manage and recover former tenant arrears, court costs and recharges.
• Trace former tenants and negotiate repayment arrangements.
• Monitor performance and produce regular recovery reports.
• Work with internal teams and external agencies to maximise recovery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2 years' recent experience in social housing.
• Proven experience in Former Tenant Arrears (FTA) recovery.
• Experience tracing former tenants and negotiating repayment arrangements.
