Nabu Casa was established in 2018 by the founders and core contributors of Home Assistant, with the intent of making the project sustainable and to prevent burnout. Our guiding principles—privacy, choice, and sustainability—are embedded in everything we do, from our architecture to our community.

Nabu Casa is a profitable company with no external investors. Today, we are the official provider of Home Assistant products and services. Every subscription and purchase directly funds the ongoing development of Home Assistant and the many other Open Home projects.
