Remote Civil/Structural Substation Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for Civil and Structural Engineering related tasks as assigned, with minimal to moderate guidance, in support of Electrical Substation design.


• Perform structural steel, structure anchorage, and concrete foundation designs. Generate structural steel and reinforced concrete details.


• Develop structural analysis models and design of steel structures and equipment support foundations. Also utilize in-house developed design tools to assist in analysis, post-processing and creating construction drawing information.


• Assist in the preparation of calculation reports and packages, steel and rebar fabrication shop drawing review, and construction submittal review.


• Involved in executing structural steel and concrete analysis, design, and detailing, for transmission and distribution electrical substations with voltage classes up to and including 345kV.
