Position

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CHBE) in the College of Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for a Regular faculty position or visiting faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level commencing in Fall 2027.

Responsibilities

Teaching and research in Chemical and Biological Engineering, including the development and delivery of undergraduate and graduate courses and the advancement of research projects.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemical or Biological Engineering or a closely related field.
• Significant teaching portfolio.
• Experience in the American model of higher education (highly desirable).
• Preferred background in Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or Biotechnology.
