About the role

Mater has a fantastic opportunity for an Academic Fellow to provide a supervised consultative palliative care service, within Mater Hospital Brisbane (MHB) and Mater Cancer Care Centre (MCCC). This role is being offered on a maximum term, fulltime basis commencing February 2027 for a period of 12 months.

Mater Hospital Brisbane (MHB) is a level III (university) hospital with an active teaching program. MHB contains a 28-bed cancer ward for provision of integrated oncology, haematology and palliative care and a large ambulatory care facility. 

The co-located Mater Private Hospital (MPHB) provides private inpatient oncology facilities and the Mater Research Institute, and provides research support.
