Summary The Supervisor of Respiratory Care, RRT Montana VA Health Care System has expert knowledge of respiratory therapy methods, equipment, and procedures. The RRT supervisor plans and assists in the establishment of a completely integrated respiratory care program, recommends improvements based on evaluation of facility operations, supervises and manages subordinate employees in Respiratory Care section. Responsibilities As Supervisory Registered Respiratory Therapist, the incumbent provides leadership for Cardiopulmonary personnel and has full responsibility for supervising inpatient respiratory therapists, which encompasses all cardio operations. Assists in planning, organizing, staffing, and decision making. Assures implementation of all policies and procedures. Updates policy and procedure manuals as needed.
