Registered Nurse

General Accountability

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality holistic nursing care to oncology patients throughout their entire cancer care experience, including assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration, teaching, counseling, support, and follow-up. This position reports to a Site Manager or Provincial Manager within the Care Services Division; however, different reporting mechanisms may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Nursing
• Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C
• Oncology Nursing Certification is an asset

Memberships:

• Licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
